Opening of the Archive

BDP Self Publishing Archive

To get things underway we are happy to welcome producers, publishers and creators of self-published works to come to Büro BDP and drop off their items to be included in the archive on a consignment basis. The growing archive will also be open for consultation and browsing.

On the same day we will have a roundtable discussion to mark the opening of the archive in which the various reasons to self publish, along with the pros and cons, will all be discussed. The conversation will look at how distribution and dissemination are factors that make the art of self publishing more and more attractive and yet at the same time challenging. A number of agents with various experiences and perspectives on the field will join the editors of BDP and we hope that we can cover many parts of this exciting and growing domain of contemporary art and literary practices.

Roundtable discussion: 4pm
Participants: Martin Kahout, Aisha Franz, John Holten et al
